Chocolate cupcakes for the little children
Made chocolate cupcakes with chocolate mousse filling topped with chocolate ganache and little candy flowers for the little children's National Day party at the childcare centre. Triple chocolate treats for them!!! We have found out that children prefer chocolate ganache to buttercream so no cream is used for their cupcakes. Molasses was used instead of the unrefined sugar as it's less sweet. Hope they have a good time tucking into the yummy cupcakes!

Carrot cupcake
Carrot cupcake with cream cheese frosting is like a tiny treat! Though this is not entirely vegan (because of the diary cheese that we use for the frosting), it's still vegetarian. We are still sourcing vegan cheese and once we get our hands on it, we promise you it's going to be fully vegan! Otherwise we could simply replace it with another frosting as it's role is to complement the cupcake and not take the centre stage!
These cupcakes have so much goodness in it! There's loads of carrots, walnuts and raisings and we've got a little fan who is hooked on it! Teresa's two and a half year old daughter is a fussy eater but she polished the entire cupcake (without the frosting) all by herself!!!

Seeds and nuts are good sources of omega-3 too
Citing the mail by Chen Bin from Mind your body (The Straits Times), August 1, 2007
"Fish is no doubt a good source of omega-3, but it should not be portrayed as the best source.
Fish have high omega-3 content because they eat sea vegetation, especially algae. As fish stocks decrease, businesses are quick to find profitable solutions in fish farms.
Good omega-3 sources such as salmon are widely farmed now, with farmers lloking for ways to increase animal protein in the feed because these are cheaper and produce faster growth than vegetable-protein feed.
The cost? Dramatically reduced omega-3 content in the farmed fish."
"Omega-3 are found in leafy vegetables, cereal grains, nuts (not just Brazil nuts) and other sources. One nut is widely available in Singapore is the walnut.
Flaxseed is a good source of omega-3 and is suited to any diet preference. Flax (seed or oil) can be taken by sprinkling it on cereal, oats, bread, porridge or other foods."

very fudgey brownie
Just baked the 'very fudgey brownie' last night and the chocolatey smell floats around the apartment while it was baking! It smells delicious! Well after it's done, I took a bite and it was simply 'orgasmic'!!!! It's made with lots of cocoa, chocolate and love!!! Remember, no trans fat and eggs here. All vegan! Who says being vegan can't eat their deserts! Our brownie is unlike the usual ones that you eat out there. It's moist and soft and the chocolatey taste is just wonderful!!! It also taste very good with rich chocolate ganache of top of it! *Apologise for the self-promoting here*
You can certainly place an order from us if you want to get your hands on the 'very fudgey brownie'. Simply email us.
